The Institute of Professional Investigators (IPI) are proud to report that they are signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant. This achievement is a first for the Private Investigation industry and for the IPI a double success in that the Institute is also authorised to offer civilian investigator training to members of the Armed Forces coming to the end of their Military Service.
Proudly supporting those who serve the IPI provides civilian training and qualifications at discounted rates, most of which is paid for by the Ministry of Defence under their Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) resettlement scheme. Individuals wishing to join the ranks of Professional Investigators are offered a discount on their IPI annual membership fees, via its Armed Forces Veterans Scheme, and on acceptance have access to ongoing free assistance and support in respect of their new civilian employment.
The facilities available to military personnel and are particularly suited to veterans who have been employed in security, military police, intelligence, special investigation, surveillance and reconnaissance roles.
However, all veterans are welcome and can rest assured in the knowledge that the IPI training academy provides expert tutors and a support system that safeguards veterans interests whilst adapting to their new civilian environment. The IPI training academy can provide all of the accredited RQF Investigatory courses required to assist Veterans transition into this exciting and challenging area of work.
Merchant Seamen who have served on active service in defined areas may also be eligible for membership under this scheme.
