PC Stephen Tibble QPM – #LestWeForget

Remembering PC Stephen Tibble, of the Metropolitan Police. Killed on duty in 1975.

Stephen Tibble QPM 26th February 1975 21 years old Metropolitan Police. PC Tibble who was off duty was shot three times at point blank range by a terrorist on the run from detectives in Baron’s Court, West London. He was posthumously awarded the Queen’s Police Medal for Gallantry.
